At Narain Niwas Palace, hospitality and history coexist. Initially constructed as a rural home, this famous mansion first welcomed visitors in 1978 as a modest four-room bed and breakfast. The palace has developed into a magnificent heritage hotel over the years, but it still has the cosiness and allure of its original design. The palace is situated on ten acres of serene gardens and is only three km from Jaipur's walled city. It provides a window into Rajasthan's royal way of life with its traditional decor, hand-painted walls, and antique furniture. The facility is the perfect spot to unwind and take in a bit of history because it also has dining options, boutique stores, and a spa. There are many one-bedroom suites, including specialty suites, housed within the walls of the historic fort.
In 2025, Narain Niwas Palace will be run by its third generation of hospitality professionals. However, Thakur Mohan Singhji Kanota and his late wife Thakurani Sahab Narendra Kanwar opened this magnificent ancient hotel to tourists in 1978 after it had previously been a private residence. What began as a four-room bed and breakfast soon expanded, and the garden palace was transformed into the opulent hotel it is today. With their sons, Kunwar Pratap Singh and Kunwar Mormukut Rathore, Thakur Man Singh, and Thakur Prithvi Singh, the sons of Thakur Mohan Singh ji, are currently running the hotel.
Along with Castle Kanota and Rajmahal Palace, the Kanota family is the manager of three heritage buildings, including Narain Niwas Palace. Every property has a unique history and aesthetic, but they all prioritize maintaining the past and providing friendly service. Over the years, the palace has undergone meticulous restoration, preserving its original furnishings and interior design. The grounds still have the cannons and other weapons that were used to protect Jaipur.
In the centre of Jaipur, we provide a glimpse of the past. Only three kilometres from the busy walled city, the Palace is a peaceful haven surrounded by ten acres of verdant gardens. The palace provides a genuine glimpse of Rajasthan's royal way of life with its hand-painted walls, antique furniture, and serene courtyards. In addition to its 52 distinctive rooms, the hotel offers boutique stores, a spa, and superb eating options that encourage rest.
In the centre of Jaipur, Narain Niwas Palace has 52 opulent air-conditioned rooms, including 29 tastefully furnished ordinary rooms and 16 exquisite suites. With genuine art deco furnishings and décor, each room honours Rajasthan's past while also featuring contemporary conveniences like air conditioning, televisions, phones, safety lockers, and attached bathrooms. Calm garden vistas give the whole experience a calming charm. Sizes range from 753 square feet (70 square meters) to 3,014 square feet (280 square meters).
